For the 2022 competition, the team have decided to re-develop our first generation vehicle, SEM-01. By taking this decision, we hope to save materials and manufacturing time so that there is sufficient time for testing to ensure a reliable competition performance.

The updated car will include:

• A new driver’s lid, window, bulkhead and powertrain cover

• A new seat design to improve ergonomics

• Newly designed steering/brakes components including rack and pinion, accelerator pedal, brake pedal and custom master cylinder assembly

• The updated powertrain and carbon tube rear structure

• A newly designed motor tuned using the motor dyno and powertrain testing rig to maximise efficiency
